Reporting a problem
Telling us about a bug, a mistake in a question or page, or an idea, from inside Augment or by email.

From inside Augment
The quickest way is the feedback form, which opens from:
- Feedback at the foot of the sidebar, on a computer;
- Send feedback in the account sheet, on a phone;
- ⌘' on a Mac or Ctrl+' elsewhere, from any page;
- Report an issue in a question's ⋯ menu;
- Report a problem with this question in a quick-fire round's ⋯ menu;
- Report this problem on the page Augment shows when something breaks.
What the form asks
Choose what kind of report it is:
- Something's broken: a page that won't load, a button that does nothing;
- Content is wrong: a wrong answer, a mistake in a markscheme or notes page, a typo;
- Idea or request: something you'd like Augment to do, or a subject you need.
Then give it a title and say what happened. You can add a screenshot.
When you report from a question or while reading a notes page, the report names that question or page for you. You can remove it if the report is about something else.
What is sent with it
To help us find the problem, the form also sends the page you were on, your browser and screen size, your time zone and recent errors on the page. The form lists all of it under What's included before you send. It never includes your password or anything you typed elsewhere.
What happens next
We read every report. When we fix or close one, we may reply, and the reply arrives under the bell in Augment.
You can have one open report per question. Once we've dealt with it you can report that question again. To stop the form being flooded, each student can send 10 reports an hour and 40 a day.
By email
If you can't log in, or the form won't open, email contact@augment-education.com. Say what you were doing, what you expected and what happened, and include the question code (such as AA-00142) if it's about a question.
