Booklets
The formula and data booklets in Augment: which ones there are, opening them beside a question, and the PDF.

Which booklets there are
Augment has the four booklets the IB gives students in the exam for these subjects:
| Booklet | Edition |
|---|---|
| Mathematics: analysis and approaches formula booklet | First examinations 2021 |
| Mathematics: applications and interpretation formula booklet | First examinations 2021 |
| Physics data booklet | First assessment 2025 |
| Chemistry data booklet | First assessment 2025 |
Each holds every formula, constant and table of the official booklet, worded as printed and in the same order. Other subjects have no booklet in their current syllabus.
Reading one without an account
The data booklets are free to read on this site, with the same explanations.
What Augment adds
Beside each entry, Explain opens our notes on it: what each symbol means and its unit, when to use the formula, common mistakes and a worked example. These are ours, kept apart from the booklet's text so you always know which is which. In the exam you get the booklet alone.
Opening it beside a question
On a question bank page, a worksheet or a single question, press D or the booklet button. The booklet opens beside the question at the entries for that question's topics. Esc closes it. On a phone it opens from the bottom of the screen.
Searching and levels
Search finds a formula by its name, its symbols or what it's for. The SL and HL switch hides or shows the HL-only parts, as in the printed booklet.
Downloading a PDF
In Augment, Download PDF in the booklet's toolbar makes a PDF on your device. Choose the level (except for chemistry, which has one version), whether to include our explanations, and which sections. Each page carries your email and the date, as worksheets do.
A formula looks wrong
Tell us with Feedback in the app or by email, and name the booklet and the entry. We check every entry against the official booklet.
