What you can use with a class
Augment is made for students, and there are no classroom accounts. Some of it is still useful to a teacher. This page says which parts, and how far they go.
Build a worksheet from the syllabus
You need a free account for this. There is only one kind, made for students, so it asks for your age and subjects like anyone’s.
- Start from topicsPick a subject and level, tick the topics and subtopics you’ve taught, and narrow by paper, difficulty and question type.
- Choose how manyUp to 100 questions, spread evenly across the topics or in proportion to how big each one is. They come back in syllabus order.
- Then adjust by handSwap any question for another like it, remove it, or add questions you’ve picked yourself before you save.
Questions are published for 9 subjects so far, and coverage differs between them. Counted on . See Subjects for what each one has.
Export it as a PDF
Export lays the worksheet out on A4 pages, with the markscheme at the back if you ask for it.
- Traceable on every pageEach page names the account that exported it, the date and an export reference, with a faint stamp across it.
- Licensed to youThe license on the first page covers your own study. To hand out printed copies, write to us first at contact@augment-education.com.
- A limit on exportsExports are capped at 10 an hour and 30 a day for each account.
Free to read, no account needed
These are open to anyone, so you can link a class straight to them.
- Notes and glossariesA page for each part of the syllabus, and each subject’s glossary from A to Z, for the 14 subjects with notes so far. Start from Subjects.
- The data bookletsThe Math, Physics and Chemistry booklets, in printed order, with what each symbol means and when to use each formula. The formulas and tables themselves are the IB’s.
- Grade boundariesRecent boundaries for the subjects we have them for.
What it doesn’t do for teachers
- There are no classroom or teacher accounts, and no way to see a class’s results.
- There is no school plan or invoice.
- Written answers aren’t marked. Students compare their work with the markscheme and mark themselves.
- A worksheet holds questions from one subject at one level.
